As the year draws to a close, it’s time to look back and reflect.
I managed to publish four novels.

I wrote over 70,000 words of a fifth novel in November.

I wrote several short stories, some of which may become novels in the future. With titles like,
Murder and the Happily Ever After Bus,
All Because,
Doppelganger,
and
Papers, Please.
I started a Substack, which I intend to grow as an alternative to my presence on Medium. It currently contains a few short stories and some writing about writing.
What I didn’t do.
I never got around to recording all the content I had planned for my YouTube Channel. I now have over a hundred short stories and flash fiction pieces to recite and turn into video.
Which all feels a little daunting.
I never got around to finishing any of the fourteen novels I have part-written. Some are sequels, others are new work. I’ve written over 150,000 words of them so far, so it’s not as if I haven’t got started.
Despite my good intentions, I wasn’t very active on Social Media. My excuse is that, as an introvert, I find it exhausting.
As for my plans for 2026, I’ll be telling you about them in a couple of weeks.
If you want to know more about anything to do with my writing, just drop me a comment. Until next time,
Happy reading.

You did extremely well. Publishing 4 novels in one year is amazing. I’m lucky to manage one, if that!! Well done. And I have no doubt some of those unfinished books will see the light of day soon.

Thanks, it’s been a busy year. I’m determined to finish some that have been hanging around.
