The second edit of “The Rocks of Aserol” is complete, my wonderful editor has done her thing and I have the manuscript to check through. Of course, I was more interested in her verdict on the story than the boring old things about the placement of commas and apostrophes. And this is what she said,
“Again, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Knowing the plot can sometimes affect how I feel about a book, but it still found it very tightly written with excellent pace.”
So that’s a relief, I had re-written bits of it and was a bit worried about the effect that it would have had on the overall feel of the tale. Looks like I needn’t have been.
And as for the Flash Fiction teasers, “I really enjoyed the vignettes. They will work very well. It’s developed into a wonderful project.”
Good news then.
