Welcome back to another blog hop, with #OpenBook. Here’s this week’s prompt.

What is your most obscure and favorite work supply for writing?
I had to think about this one.
If you discount the huge collection of notebooks and the tablet with an attached keyboard that accompanies me, all I’m left with is my fountain pen, made of wood from a local forest.
A thoughtful present from my wife.
With it, I use ink of various colours
Unfortunately, my writing doesn’t do the pen justice, but I love the purple ink.
If you can decipher the writing, it’s from My Sister Alex, my ongoing serial on Medium

That’s a gorgeous pen. I also love the purple ink.

Thank you. I’m very proud of it, I use it a lot. If only I could read what I write (I should have been a doctor).

Just got a pack of rainbow pens this summer! I definitely love funky pens, myself.

Oh yes, I hate Blue and Black ink, so boring. I’m sure utility bills or letters from the taxman wouldn’t seem so bad in purple.
