My Happy Place

Welcome back to another blog hop, with #OpenBook. Here’s this week’s prompt.

Don’t forget to click the link to see what everyone else has to say on this week’s subject. It’s at the end of my post.

Share a place you go to for inspiration.

Due to my participation in the NaNoWriMo challenge, I’m keeping this one short.

There’s a place just ten minutes’ walk from my house. I go there most days. I enjoy just walking around and thinking.

When we first moved here, I walked my dogs there, they could run around and chase rabbits. Even though they’re long gone, if I’m patient, I occasionally glimpse them out of the corner of my eye.

It’s a beautiful spot, no matter what the season or weather, sometimes I share the space with cows.

In summer, I’ll go barefoot and feel the grass absorbing all my negative energy.

No matter which way you look, the views are stunning.

The question is, how could you NOT be inspired by walking there?
